Best Restaurants in Corfu




1. Taverna Agni: Located in the charming village of Agni, This restaurants perfect for those looking to sample the best of Greek food and culture. a wide range of dishes, made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, including seafood, grilled meats, and vegetables. The restaurant also offers a selection of local and regional wines to complement the food and create a truly authentic Greek dining experience. I've only ever been for lunches but during the day I can vouch for the unreal scenery. Their outdoor seating right by the sea is hard to beat. If you're on a boat for the day this is definitely the place to head to for lunch. Their aubergine stuffed rolls are divine!! It's a very homey, relaxing traditional Greek taverna on the beach.


2. The Old Fortress Yacht Club: Head to The Old Fortress for a unique dining experience. It's located within the old Venetian fortress, this restaurant offers panoramic views of the city and sea while you enjoy your meal. You have to walk through the castle all the way to the end of it which is a nice little excursion as well! The fish is best over here as it is by the sea, so I'd recommend seafood lovers to definitely take your pick here!


3. Toulas: Toulas Restaurant, located in Agni Bay, Corfu, is a renowned seaside eatery known for its modern Greek cuisine. This dining destination is set among the rolling hills of the island and is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. it's not that known which is what I love about it. It's definitely one of the most romantic restaurants in Corfu. Ambelonas has stunning views, delicious food, and excellent wine, making it a must-visit for anyone interested in the local culinary and winemaking traditions of Corfu. You can also do wine tasting here obviously! and vineyard tours. I believe you can also have a go at making wine yourself! stepping on a whole loads of grapes :)


5. Dionysus: Dionysus is a restaurant located in the village of Barbati in the North of Corfu. It's known for their traditional Greek cuisine, served in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Dionysus has been serving locals and visitors to the area for many years. The quality and pricing of the food here is amazing and really worth it. They also give you a lot of free warm delicious pita breads! I usually tend to get a couple starters here as that's my favourite thing to do. The aubergine dip and Tzatiki tastes sooo good. The restaurant's also got an outside seating area overlooking Barbati beach from the top.


6. Mitsos Taverna: I love this restaurant. It's very close to home for me so it's definitely a special one! Mitsos Taverna is a family-run restaurant that has been serving the local community for many many years. It has such a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's in Nissaki which is the North part of Corfu. The Tzatziki and chicken souvlaki are especially popular, and are made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. It's also known for its beautiful location, right by the crystal blue sea and its lush greenery, cute sofas, and just the panoramic views of the sea surrounding you. Whether you're looking to enjoy a leisurely lunch, a romantic dinner, or a relaxed evening with friends, Mitsos Taverna is the perfect place to visit.
