Best restaurants in Corfu Town

1. Pane e Souvlaki: This Greek restaurant is located in the heart of the old town and serves up delicious home-style cooking. It's a laidback restaurant with pretty seating outside overlooking a beautiful square full of flowers and a church. There is a wide range of options for vegans and vegetarians here - Salads full of flavours and extremely fresh! Their greek salad is delicious, as well as their meat boxes that come with chips, pita breads (my favourite!) and your choice of meat. Everything on their menu is just so so good! Highly recommend.

2. Ninos Restaurant: This restaurant is known for its traditional Greek cuisine. The menu features a range of Greek dishes, such as moussaka, souvlaki, and tzatziki, made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. This is a family-run restaurant and you'll find that it's mostly locals go here. It's a hidden treasure for super greek food for really cheap prices! The moussaka and stuffed tomatoes is a personal favourite here!

3. Cavalieri: This elegant rooftop restaurant is located in the heart of the old town set in a hotel. The views are EVERYTHING. Pretty much the best thing about this restaurant is the views and the atmosphere of the rooftop, watching the sunset with an aperol in hand is definitely the best bit especially with all the swallows flying over your head. The menu offers a range of delicious pasta dishes, steaks, and fish. For starters, we always get the bruschetta and the aubergine parmiagiana (which is probably my favourite thing off the menu) I wouldn't miss this place - even if its just for a drink.

4. Arcadion: This is definitely a hidden gem in Corfu. Not many people know about this restaurant - even the locals! It's a very pretty rooftop with views of the town and it feels intimate as it's not a big restaurant at all and only has a couple tables. I'd recommend booking this in advance! Their menu offers Greek dishes but with a twist making their local dishes fancy.

5. Naok Azur: One of my favourite seaside restaurants in Corfu town. It offers a unique experience, combining dining, drinking, shisha, dancing, swimming and smiling all in one place. With its breathtaking views of the old fortress and N.A.O.K. Sailing Club, Naok azur is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed lunch or a sophisticated dinner while taking in the beautiful surroundings. In the evening, the restaurant transforms into a lively nightlife destination with live DJ performances and a variety of cocktails on offer. The cocktails are seriously yummy. In addition to their Greek dishes, they also serve Japanese cuisine, including sushi and bao buns which was actually my favourite! Whether you're looking for a laid-back lunch, a romantic dinner, or a night out, Naok Azur has something for everyone.

6. Fishalida: This restaurant is set in Corfu town right by their food markets - which is always fun to explore and get fresh food if you're cooking up a bbq or fancy some delicious tomatoes etc! Fishalida is definitely a gem. It's not set in the most beautiful location however their seafood makes up for it. Their dishes always look and taste amazing. for Corfu, I would say this is quite and upmarket restaurant and their prices aren't as cheap as other restaurants but their food is the freshest it can be and done perfectly! They turn simple dishes into something special. The octopus with hummus is the best we've ever had! Their moussaka with prawns was also mouthwatering. Their staff go above and beyond, even giving us free dessert at the end with a variety of different cakes!
