Corfu walking trails

1.The Corfu Trail

The Corfu Trail is a 220-kilometer long-distance footpath that runs the length of the island, from the southernmost tip to the northernmost point. The trail takes you through forests, olive groves, and picturesque villages, as well as some of the island's most stunning coastal areas. You can do the whole trail in one go, or break it up into smaller sections.


2. Mount Pantokrator

At 906 meters, Mount Pantokrator is the highest peak on Corfu, and the views from the top are absolutely breathtaking. There are several routes up the mountain, but the most popular is the one that starts from the village of Ipsos. The hike takes around three hours, and the views from the summit are well worth the effort.


3. The Trail of the 12 Villages

The Trail of the 12 Villages is a circular route that takes you through some of Corfu's most picturesque traditional villages. The trail starts and ends in the village of Pelekas and takes around four hours to complete. Along the way, you'll pass through olive groves, vineyards, and dense forests, and you'll get to experience the local way of life.


4. Erimitis Trail

The Erimitis Trail is a beautiful coastal walk that takes you through some of Corfu's most unspoiled scenery. The trail starts from the village of Kassiopi and takes around two hours to complete. Along the way, you'll pass through olive groves, rocky outcrops, and secluded beaches. The views of the Ionian Sea are simply stunning.


5. Agni Bay to Kalami Beach

This is a relatively easy coastal walk that takes you from Agni Bay to Kalami Beach, two of Corfu's most beautiful spots. The walk takes around two hours and offers stunning views of the Ionian Sea. Along the way, you'll pass through olive groves, citrus orchards, and vineyards, and you'll get to experience the local way of life.
